can be made more energy efficient.
Materials Selection (2009)
This report discusses the overall environmental
impact of different contruction materials. It empasizes the importance
of considering the life-cycle analysis of materials and products,
evaluating their carbon impact from extraction, production, tranportation,
installation, use, maintenance and repair, demolition and disposal.
Solid Wall Insulation (2010)
In the past eighteen months, there has been a great
deal of progress with internal insulation products for solid walls,
in response to growing demand from owners of traditional solid wall
buildings in conservation areas, where the front elevation cannot
be insulated externally for conservation reasons. Phil is currently
conducting a detailed research project in this subject.
